For utility assistance, call: 706-722-3982 Monday between 9-10am

Assistance with groceries.

Help with laundry and hygiene products.

Clothing vouchers to our Thrift Store for those needing men’s, women’s, or children’s clothing and shoes.

Local bus passes for medical, psychological, educational, probation/parole, and employment-related appointments.

Prescription drugs for indigent/uninsured persons
Low-income clinic co-pays for medical visits and lab fees
Incontinence supplies/nutrition supplements

Adult diapers and nutrition assistance.

Provision of non-skid shoes/steel-toed boots (with job referral)

Emergency financial assistance to families who have:
A utility cut-off notice and/or
Experienced a utility cut-off
Documents Required
For all services except food assistance:
1. Picture IDs for all adults 18 and older
2. Social Security cards for all household members
3. Birth certificates for all children 17 and younger
4. Proof of income for all household members
5. Food stamps letter
For utility assistance:
1. All the above
2. The current utility bill you need assistance with
3. Lease and/or housing letter (if applicable)
