About Catholic Social Service
Catholic Social Services (CSS) is an outreach of the Catholic Church in the
Augusta community, committed to caring for God's people through the use of
our time, talent and treasure. In response to the teachings of the Gospel
and the Church, programs have been established to provide assistance for
individuals and families in need to overcome crisis situations. As we strive
to alleviate suffering while confirming the dignity and worth of every
person we serve, we will also promote peace and justice in the community.
Each year our volunteers donate thousands of hours to support the less fortunate of our community. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our agency. We are now providing over 40,000 services per year, and we need your help.

Funding for CSS is provided by the area Catholic Churches, the Diocese of Savannah, grants and donations by other churches, individuals, and by organizations. Your gift can provide a basic necessity for a family or individual and give them hope!
